About

I am a Postdoctoral Researcher in Systems Immunology at the La Jolla Institute for Immunology (LJI), working in the group of Prof. Bjoern Peters. My research combines computational biology, statistics, and immunology to understand how the human immune system responds to infection and vaccination.

Before joining LJI, I completed my Ph.D. in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Indore, where I studied mitochondrial evolution and genetic network organization under the supervision of Prof. Sarika Jalan. My doctoral work applied network science to genomic and proteomic systems to uncover evolutionary and disease-associated molecular interactions.

At LJI, I develop and apply multi-omics integration and machine learning approaches to extract predictive immune signatures across transcriptomic, proteomic, and immuno-profiling data. A major focus of my work is designing reproducible computational frameworks that can evaluate and benchmark models of vaccine-induced immunity, including large-scale international initiatives such as the CMI-PB and CMI-Flu challenges. These efforts aim to advance data-driven discovery in systems vaccinology and improve our understanding of protective immune mechanisms.

My broader interests lie at the intersection of bioinformatics, network biology, and immunology, with a growing emphasis on AI-assisted discovery and science communication. I enjoy collaborative, interdisciplinary research environments where computational and experimental teams work closely to decode complex biological systems.

Details of my publications can be found on Google Scholar and GitHub.
